The Eswatini Professional Boxing and Arm Wrestling Association (EPBAWA) is the national governing body for professional and Olympic-style boxing and arm-wrestling in Eswatini. Established to foster excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship, EPBAWA aims to promote, develop, and regulate these sports within the Kingdom of Eswatini.

EPBAWA's mission is to promote professional boxing and arm wrestling in Eswatini by fostering excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship. The association is dedicated to organizing and sanctioning competitions, building strong partnerships, advocating for athletes' rights, ensuring participants' safety, and delivering impactful training programs. Collaborating with local, regional, and international bodies, EPBAWA strives to elevate the standards and visibility of combat sports while nurturing the development of athletes and the broader community.

Membership

EPBAWA offers diverse membership types, including individual, club, junior, honorary, corporate, and family memberships. Members enjoy exclusive rights such as participation in events, voting on key issues, access to resources, and representation in competitions. They are expected to adhere to rules, promote the sport, and exhibit respect and sportsmanship.

Governance Structure

The EPBAWA governance structure comprises an Interim Executive Committee responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational excellence of the organization. The committee ensures transparency, accountability, and ethical decision-making.

  • Vice-President:

    Mr Valentine M. Khumalo - Supports the President and oversees specific initiatives.

  • Secretary General:

    Nondumiso N. Masuku - Manages records, correspondence, and administrative tasks.

  • DSG (Marketing & Communication):

    Thembisa Zulu - Facilitate communication, advocate for innovation and monitor policy compliance.

  • Treasurer:

    Ms Jabulile G. Nxumalo - Handles financial management, budgeting, and compliance.
